I saw this some time ago. It was a lucky shot for the jaguar (being silent & shit). It could have gone either way, crocodiles usually have strongest biting force (I think this is how I got to that video ). Saltwater Crocodiles can put up a pressure of 3,700 PSI. However I found on other websites even greater values, like 7,700 PSI. I think in the video there's a Caiman Crocodile anyway A jaguar can only produce a bite pressure of around 1,000 PSI (usually big cats have around 1000). That's like 4-8 times more powerful for the crocodile, depending on which source you believe However, they have a big BFQ (bite force relative to its mass) of 137. Crocodiles have less BFQ, since they have like 1,000 kg. For comparison, humans can bite with a pressure of 150 PSI Aaaanyway, did you know that toothless turtle Alligator Snapping Turtle has a bite pressure of like 1,000 PSI ? Watch this www.youtube.com/watch?v=7VDeO3aWYO0Also, did you know that the Tasmanian devil has highest BFQ of 181 ? I can't find the bite pressure right now, but shouldn't be too high since they are really small www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyvPjn2m240
